Our Projects
We also focus on de-institutionalization and mentoring.
Family Support Centers
According to Luke.2:52, Jesus grew in wisdom, in stature, in favor with God, and in favor with men. In line with this, our program model is designed to ensure the following aspects of human development:
Brong Ahafo Region

PFS is piloting a community-strengthening approach to the creation of child protection mechanisms in Yabraso, a community in the Tain District.
Being the first project of the organization, it is working to prove that rural Ghanaian communities can be empowered to care for their children.
Volta Region

A key region with significant numbers of child workers in rural farming communities, the Volta region provides a rich ground to begin the task.
Greater Accra Region

Currently working with institutionalized beneficiaries, this office is in the Region of Ghana that holds the highest number of Residential Homes for Children.
The Key Elements of Our Mentoring Model
Mentoring is a long term relationship where the focus is on supporting the growth and development of the mentee. The mentor is a source of wisdom, teaching, and support. The PFS mentoring model focuses on raising leaders and responsible adults especially from among careleavers and other vulnerable children using its 4-pronged approach.
Spiritual

We encourage our mentees to develop sound relationships with God to build the best foundation for morals in a healthy and responsible adult.
Social

Academic

Physical

We invest in the physical wellness of our beneficiaries to improve the sense of self-worth and enhance the achievements of our beneficiaries.
